What we did: Removed leaking BUR roofing system, installed TPO membrane on flat portion and metal roofing on the gables
Saint Clair Baptist Church’s built up roofing (BUR) roofing system was leaking in multiple areas. We began the project by removing the BUR system. Then we installed ISO insulation board for greater thermal resistance. After that, we mechanically fastened a 60 mil TPO membrane. For the gabled portion of the roof, we installed a cool metal roofing system, which provides great UV protection and weatherproofing for the facility.
